For the Telefest Industry Choice Awards, we sought Industry Choice judges that are:

• artists
• established in the industry, with stellar reputations
• experienced in various genres/formats of production

Each category of finalists will be judged by industry professionals that are well versed in television and film production, in particular, well versed in the television/film/web series/teleplay category they are judging. Our Industry Choice judges all have producing experience in addition to their individual artistic achievements, ensuring a qualified, complete assessment of each Finalists' concept. As we announce new Industry Choice judges over the coming six months, we will post them on the Telefest website, along with some information about each judge's career.

Preliminary judging will be overseen by founders Tammy Lauren and Guri Weinberg, narrowing down all submissions to the top ten finalists in each category. Preliminary judging will have a list of criteria that puts the emphasis on long range vision and creativity of concept, with less attention shown actual production values, keeping in mind that a pilot presentation is a visual 'pitch' and would be re-shot as a pilot if picked up by any programming buyer. We consider this the fairest method for our preliminary entries and the best shot at finding what truly excites artists as well as audiences.
